The US dollar continued its growth after non-farm employment data released, but with relatively moderate fluctuations. Major non-US currencies are generally weak against the US dollar. As the dollar strengthen, gold price fell slightly by 0.23% on Monday.
The Fed may not be eager to kick off an easing monetary policy due to the healthy employment and economy status. The possibility of an aggressive interest rate cuts at the end of July may reduce.
Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell will speak at an event hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston at AEST 10.45pm.
