Bloomberg reports that India is now adding more than 80,000 confirmed infections per day, with 71,000 deaths so far. Yesterday, it overtook Brazil as the world’s second biggest outbreak. Due to the large number of population in India, there is a high possibility of India overtaking the US to record the highest number of cases in the world.
A sobering reminder to all not to take the Covid pandemic easily and assume that we are safe. Let’s exercise caution, traders!
