Significant beat on all CPI data last night has pushed the US dollar higher and is currently testing the 92.70 resistance level with the GBP EUR AUD NZD all ending the US trading session lower. The 10 year bond yield closed 1.41% and equities were down a little to end the session after an early rallly, for today there is CPI out at 14:00 GMT+8 for the GBP and later this evening PPI (MoM) is coming out at 20:30 GMT+8. Friday there is EUR CPI (MoM) released at 17:00 GMT+8 and US Core Retail Sales MoM at 20:30 GMT+8. Also CAD has the BoC Monetary Policy Report and Interest Rate Decision with their press conference after at a tentative time. In conclusion these are all going to very price sensitive and I will be waiting to see how price markets with the GBPUSD in focus for either a trend continuation on the downside or a reversal with the 14:00 data release.
