Quick progress update: I’ve been copy trading for about 2 weeks now. After a lot of trial and error, I finally wrote some basic rules for myself (max drawdown per trader, no chasing top performers after a big spike, etc.).
My account is only up around 2%, but the curve is smoother, and I sleep better lol
Now I’m thinking about the next step:
-
Should I keep this account small as a “learning account” and open a bigger one later?
-
Or slowly increase my capital and copy size as long as I stay within my risk rules?
-
Do you guys review your copied traders monthly or quarterly?
I’m not looking for shortcuts anymore, just a sustainable way to grow.
