Microsoft is weighing legal action against Amazon and OpenAI over a $50 billion deal that may breach its exclusive cloud partnership with the ChatGPT maker, the Financial Times reported.
The dispute centers on whether AWS can offer OpenAI’s new product, “Frontier,” without violating terms that require access to its models to run through Microsoft’s Azure.
Reuters could not immediately verify the report, and all parties declined to comment.
